As we continue with our second meeting of the new year, we hope everyone remains healthy, safe and warm amid the battery of winter weather that has presented itself as of late. We hope everyone is preparing for the seasonal “Eagle Watch” that typically takes place around this time of year, in Sheffield Mills, NS.
As we are continuing to conduct our meetings according to provincial health guidelines, we will continue to meet online until we have the opportunity to gather in person once again.
As the winter months award many of us the time to practice our portrait photography skills both indoors or outdoors. Those of us who are less familiar with the elements that make up a strong portrait, are often looking for tips on technique, inspiration or other hints that can make a world of difference when seeking the best portrait possible.
With that in mind, our very own Ian Proctor will be featuring his body of work entitled ‘Faces”. Ian will share his process, as well as how he creates some of his images. Given Ian’s helpful nature, we are sure Ian will be willing to share some tips and tricks that he has picked up along his journey in portrait photography.
In addition to his role as the SPC’s current program coordinator – Ian is a Family and Portrait Photographer based in Seabright Nova Scotia, you can find more of Ian’s fantastic work via:

As always, we will present regular News and Club Business, along with our regular updates to round out our evening.
We look forward to seeing everyone online this Wednesday, from the comfort of your home!
Pull up a chair, grab a snack, pour yourself a beverage and enjoy the meeting!
On-line Meeting: January 19, 2022
