Only a few more weeks until the winter solstice and the holidays at the end of the month.
As the year draws to a close, the members of the SPC’s executive and planning teams bid all of our members the happiest of holiday seasons, and our many wishes for the continued awe and wonder that make for good photographs into the new year!
To close our the year we have an avid friend of the SPC returning to visit – Curtis Jones will present “Finding Newfoundland” where he will take us on a journey through his favourite places in the province and discuss the challenges that shooting in some of the craziest places he calls home.
Curtis Jones has spent most of his career saturating himself in the polar regions of the planet, dividing his residency between Newfoundland and Nunavut, Canada. Over the last decade, his adventurous lifestyle has taken him across the Gobi Desert by kite buggy, on a 2300 km unsupported traverse of the Greenland Ice Cap, Antarctica, and a lifetime of climbing and exploration worldwide.
