On-line Meeting: December 1, 2021

We have now had our first bit of snow as we draw nearer to the winter solstice at the end of the month. Holiday events (both planned and unplanned) lend themselves toward the capture portraits of those who are near and dear to us.

Some of the most captured subjects over the holiday season are Families and especially Children. We hope you will join us as our guest speaker Joni Burtt will discuss the various ways in which she approaches the storytelling and portrait photography of childhood, through both her own personal image collection and her client images. She will discuss her strengths and weaknesses and how she uses them to her advantage, as well as describing how photographing childhood has helped shaped her own identity of mother and artist. Composition tips and techniques will be explored as she shares her favourite images and explains the method behind the shot.

You can find out more about Joni by visiting her website: https://www.joniburtt.com/

As always, we will present regular News and Club Business, along with our regular updates to round out our evening.

We look forward to seeing everyone online this Wednesday, from the comfort of your home!

Pull up a chair, grab a snack, pour yourself a beverage and enjoy the meeting!
