SPC Meeting October 7th 2026

Ready to put a little more personality into your portraits?
Join us for our next SPC general meeting as we welcome Michelle Coleman, who will be talking with us about the wonderful world of portrait photography. Whether you love photographing people, avoid portraits like the plague, or find yourself saying “I’ll just take one quick photo” and then taking 37… there’s something here for you!
Michelle will share her experience, ideas, and approach to creating engaging portraits, with plenty of inspiration to help you see your subjects a little differently. Come along, bring your questions, and be prepared to pick up a few ideas you can try the next time someone reluctantly agrees to stand in front of your camera.
As always, this is an opportunity to learn something new, hang out with fellow photographers, and have a few laughs along the way. No fancy camera required, and no posing experience necessary.
This meeting is open to members of the Sackville Photography Club. If you’re not a member but would like to join us as a guest and see what we’re all about, we’d love to have you! Just email membership@sackvillephotoclub.com and ask about being our guest for the evening.
Come for the portraits, stay for the photography conversation… and maybe leave with a few new ideas for making people look good in front of your lens!
