Sackville Photography Club Meeting – November 19th 2025
We’re thrilled to welcome renowned wildlife photographer Liron Gertsman to the Sackville Photography Club for a presentation that promises to be both visually stunning and deeply inspiring.
You may have seen Liron on CBC’s “The National”, heard his voice on CBC Radio One, or come across his powerful imagery in publications like Canadian Geographic, Audubon Magazine, GEO, and The Guardian. His work has been showcased in some of the world’s top museums, including the Natural History Museum in London and the Smithsonian in Washington, DC.
Liron’s journey as a nature photographer began at the age of five with a borrowed point-and-shoot camera — and he hasn’t put it down since. As both a photographer and naturalist, he uses his images and guided tours to connect people with the natural world and highlight the urgent need for conservation. His goal: to share the essence of Earth by creating striking, thought-provoking images that inspire action and awareness.
With a biology degree from the University of British Columbia, Liron brings scientific insight to his visual storytelling, helping him portray wildlife in powerful, authentic ways. His work has earned numerous accolades, including:
