Sackville Photography Club Meeting – May 20th 2026

We’re excited to welcome Dave Reyno to the Sackville Photography Club on May 20, 2026, for an inspiring and insightful presentation on portrait photography.
With a career spanning over three decades, Dave brings a wealth of experience, creativity, and passion to every image he creates. A graduate of Humber College’s Creative Photography program in 1991—with multiple awards under his belt—Dave began his journey in the world of film photography and has evolved alongside the industry, mastering both technical precision and artistic storytelling.
Dave started his career in top commercial studios in Halifax and Moncton, where he specialized in food photography. But in 2002, he shifted focus and founded Reyno Photography, diving into portraiture and wedding photography—capturing, as he puts it, “subjects that talk back.”
From 2005 to 2008, Dave expanded his expertise in Toronto, working with some of Canada’s leading wedding and portrait studios. There, he refined his approach to documentary-style photography, skillfully navigating diverse events and personalities with a calm, creative eye.
Now based in Halifax as Dave Reyno Photography (DRP), Dave is known across Atlantic Canada for delivering portrait, wedding, and commercial work that is both technically flawless and emotionally resonant. His approach blends professionalism with ease, making every shoot feel relaxed and enjoyable—while consistently producing stunning, high-quality results.
Whether you’re just getting started in portraiture or looking to elevate your work, Dave’s presentation promises to be packed with tips, techniques, and inspiration from a true working pro.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from one of Atlantic Canada’s most respected photographers!
