Join us for a breathtaking start to the new year as we welcome Nova Scotia-based photographer Adam Cornick to the Sackville Photography Club!
Originally from Cornwall, UK, Adam moved to Nova Scotia in 2008 — and quickly fell in love with the province’s raw, untamed beauty. Since then, he has dedicated himself to capturing the extraordinary hidden in everyday moments through wide-angle landscape and seascape photography. His work is a tribute to the dramatic coastlines, windswept beaches, rugged granite boulders, and towering cliffs that define Nova Scotia’s natural identity.
Adam’s presentation, The Ordinary in the Extraordinary, explores how he finds magic in the mundane and turns fleeting moments into timeless images — in all seasons and all types of weather. Through his lens, crashing waves and overcast skies become powerful expressions of place, emotion, and storytelling.
Whether you’re a landscape photographer, a storm chaser, or someone who simply wants to see Nova Scotia through new eyes, this talk will offer inspiration, insight, and a fresh perspective on the world around us.
