SPC Meeting – Nov 18th 2026

What if your next great editing teacher was already sitting at your computer?
For our next SPC general meeting, David Adamson and Shawn Wyrozub will be teaming up to take a look at how Artificial Intelligence — specifically ChatGPT — can help photographers edit their images and, perhaps more importantly, learn how to edit them better.
This isn’t about pressing a magic button and letting AI do all the work for you. Instead, we’ll explore how you can use ChatGPT as a photography and editing assistant — helping you understand why an image may not be working, what you could try differently, and how to develop a better eye for your own editing.
We’ll walk through real examples, demonstrate how to communicate with AI about your images, and show how a conversation with ChatGPT can help you work through everything from exposure and colour to contrast, composition, mood, and the overall look you’re trying to achieve.
Whether you’re brand new to editing, constantly wondering “Why does this image still look wrong?”, or you’ve been editing for years and are curious about where AI fits into the process, there should be something here for you.
And don’t worry — AI isn’t here to steal your camera. At least not yet.
Come with an image, come with questions, or simply come along to see what all the fuss is about. You might just discover that learning to edit doesn’t have to mean figuring everything out by yourself.
This meeting is open to members of the Sackville Photography Club. If you’re not a member but would like to join us as a guest and see what we’re all about, we’d love to have you! Just email membership@sackvillephotoclub.com and ask about being our guest for the evening.
