Mentoring – Camera 101

Ever looked at your camera and thought, “I know it can do more… I just don’t know how yet”?
We’re excited to announce a Cameras 101 mentoring session for the Sackville Photography Club — designed especially for beginners and those who want to feel more confident using their camera beyond Auto.
In this virtual session, I’ll walk through:
-
What all those buttons and dials actually do
-
Core camera settings (without the jargon)
-
How Auto, Aperture, Shutter, and Manual modes really work
-
How to start taking creative control at your own pace
It doesn’t matter what brand or type of camera you use — DSLR, mirrorless, or even something you’ve had sitting in a bag for years. If it takes photos, it’s welcome.
After the online session, we’ll also plan an in-person get-together to put what we learned into practice, ask questions, and experiment in a relaxed, supportive setting.
This is a safe space to learn, ask “basic” questions, and finally make sense of your camera.
You can RSVP at president@sackvillephotoclub.com
This mentoring session is open to all current members of the Sackville Photography Club.
