We are nearing the end of the session as summer will soon be upon us. Our guest speaker for June will be Joseph Robichaud.
Joseph Robichaud born in Halifax Nova Scotia 1951, is an accomplished professional documentary photographer, weaving tales through his lens for more than five decades capturing captivating images of Nova Scotia. With an unwavering belief in the storytelling medium of photography, he dedicates his profession to shedding light on the rich tapestry of human experience. Through his evocative imagery, he explores themes of community, resilience, and heritage, inviting viewers to journey alongside him into the heart of the stories that shape our lives.
Driven by a passion for storytelling through imagery, Joseph’s work has been recognized by the Canadian Press for his award-winning photograph of Greenpeace protesters in Halifax in the mid-1970s. Joseph will share with us his documentary photography of life in Nova Scotia.
