Welcome to the first meeting of March, I am so grateful February is over….mostly because I hate spelling the word “February”. I always get confused on where to put all the “r’s”. This week we are back to the hybrid format, so we ask you be patient with any technical difficulties we might have.
Our guest speaker this week is none other than Ryan MacLean, Ryan is a long time member of the SPC, and after a brief hiatus he has returned to us…welcome back Ryan. Ryan will be sharing his experience photographing Halcon; if you are not familiar with Halcon, it is the largest Comic (and sci-fi) convention in the Maritimes. So if you are interested in Halcon, or event photography this is one meeting you can’t miss. As a huge sci-fi fan I will be excited to see this presentation, and as Harry Potter once said “May the force be with you”.
Don’t forget, our favourite time of the year is coming up, that’s right Daylights Savings Time. So on March 10th make sure you check your camera settings to make sure the time is correct.
Just a friendly reminder that our monthly showcase theme for March is “Winter”.
